An engineer quit his life's work at Tesla to create the ultimate hangover cure. And he says it worksMorning Recovery is the name of the remedy developed by an engineer, first as a hobby and then as a business.

According to Business Insider, former Tesla engineer Sisum Lee drew on his own experiences with alcohol in South Korea to develop the formula. There, he found that certain herbs relieved headaches and stomach aches the day after a binge.

So he decided to leave his dream job to become an entrepreneur.

One of the main ingredients in Morning Recovery is DHM, an Ampelospin-based compound that can be found in the Japanese tree Hovenia dulcis. It also contains prickly pear, electrolytes, and taurine, commonly found in energy drinks.

This formula, according to Lee, helps the body eliminate excess toxins that accumulate when we drink more alcohol than our liver is able to process.

The product will be launched worldwide on July 5.
